I don't camp often but I do camp about 1-2 times per year. Nothing spectacular by any means. My camping experience stems from cabin camping with the Girl Scouts. To save money on paper products and also to prevent unnecessary trash we ask that all campers bring a mess kit that consists of a plate, bowl, cup and utensils. When I saw this camping set I just had to have it. This set has absolutely everything that you could possibly need with the exception of your dinner napkin. I love how everything just stacks up ad packs up nice and neat. The carrying pouch that comes with it is great too for transport and to carry around.

I used the set for the first time this weekend only first ever tent camping experience. I hated sleeping in a tent by the way. anyways, this set was perfect. It had everything that I needed for the weekend and then some. The only thing that I wish it did have was a plate. I didn't like having everything in my bowl. I had to use the frying pan for a makeshift plate. I think that this set would probably be more suitable for a backpacker that is cooking individual meals.
